The Fancy Sync Box requires a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connection during app setup. 2.4 GHz is widely used for IoT devices like the Fancy Sync Box because it offers reliable range and connection stability. If your Wi-Fi names include 2.4, 2G, 5 or 5G, choose the 2.4 GHz option. Many routers combine 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz under one Wi-Fi name. If yours does, open the router or internet provider’s app, find Connected devices or Network, select your phone and look for Band, Frequency or Connection type.

Router menus vary. Do not change encryption, security or other advanced settings just to identify the band. If it is not shown, ask your internet provider or router manufacturer how to connect your phone to 2.4 GHz. Or contact our support team for assistance:

The Fancy Sync Box uses 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth during app setup. Enable the requested phone permissions so the app can discover it. A new Fancy Sync Box is ready to pair automatically, while Synced Fancyleds SF2.0 requires a compatible Fancy Sync Box to mirror on-screen colours.

ARC ist mit jedem Sync-Box-Modell voll kompatibel und ermöglicht die Unterstützung von Dolby Atmos. eARC-Anschlüsse funktionieren, indem die Verbindungen getrennt bleiben — der gesamte Ton von HDMI-Geräten wird an die Soundbar geleitet.

Dolby Atmos kommt als Dolby Digital Plus oder Dolby TrueHD an. Digital Plus — der Streaming-Standard bei Netflix, Prime Video und Disney+ — wird voll unterstützt. TrueHD, der verlustfreie Blu-ray-Codec, wird von den Sync Boxen nicht unterstützt.
