The Fancy Sync Box requires a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connection during app setup. 2.4 GHz is widely used for IoT devices like the Fancy Sync Box because it offers reliable range and connection stability. If your Wi-Fi names include 2.4, 2G, 5 or 5G, choose the 2.4 GHz option. Many routers combine 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz under one Wi-Fi name. If yours does, open the router or internet provider’s app, find Connected devices or Network, select your phone and look for Band, Frequency or Connection type.
Router menus vary. Do not change encryption, security or other advanced settings just to identify the band. If it is not shown, ask your internet provider or router manufacturer how to connect your phone to 2.4 GHz. Or contact our support team for assistance:
The Fancy Sync Box uses 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth during app setup. Enable the requested phone permissions so the app can discover it. A new Fancy Sync Box is ready to pair automatically, while Synced Fancyleds SF2.0 requires a compatible Fancy Sync Box to mirror on-screen colours.
ARC är helt kompatibelt med alla Sync Box-modeller och möjliggör stöd för Dolby Atmos. eARC-portar fungerar genom att anslutningarna hålls åtskilda — allt ljud från HDMI-enheter skickas till soundbaren.
Dolby Atmos levereras som Dolby Digital Plus eller Dolby TrueHD. Digital Plus — streamingstandarden på Netflix, Prime Video och Disney+ — stöds fullt ut. TrueHD, det förlustfria Blu-ray-codecet, stöds inte av Sync Box-enheterna.
Rekommenderade installationer med AVR eller soundbar
AVR:er och soundbars stöds i allmänhet tillsammans med vårt system; vi har dock inte testat kompatibiliteten med alla modeller. Nedan går vi igenom standardinstallationen utan AVR eller soundbar, följt av de rekommenderade installationerna och två ytterligare konfigurationer som inkluderar en soundbar eller AVR.
Vi rekommenderar Alternativ 1 eller Alternativ 2, eftersom dessa installationer är mest effektiva och fungerar sömlöst. Alternativ 3 och Alternativ 4 är möjliga installationskonfigurationer; de har dock inte testats fullt ut med alla AVR:er eller soundbars, så 100 % kompatibilitet kan inte garanteras.
