The Fancy Sync Box requires a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connection during app setup. 2.4 GHz is widely used for IoT devices like the Fancy Sync Box because it offers reliable range and connection stability. If your Wi-Fi names include 2.4, 2G, 5 or 5G, choose the 2.4 GHz option. Many routers combine 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz under one Wi-Fi name. If yours does, open the router or internet provider’s app, find Connected devices or Network, select your phone and look for Band, Frequency or Connection type.
Router menus vary. Do not change encryption, security or other advanced settings just to identify the band. If it is not shown, ask your internet provider or router manufacturer how to connect your phone to 2.4 GHz. Or contact our support team for assistance:
The Fancy Sync Box uses 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth during app setup. Enable the requested phone permissions so the app can discover it. A new Fancy Sync Box is ready to pair automatically, while Synced Fancyleds SF2.0 requires a compatible Fancy Sync Box to mirror on-screen colours.
ARC is volledig compatibel met elk Sync Box-model en maakt ondersteuning van Dolby Atmos mogelijk. eARC-poorten werken door de verbindingen gescheiden te houden — al het geluid van HDMI-apparaten gaat naar de soundbar.
Dolby Atmos komt binnen als Dolby Digital Plus of Dolby TrueHD. Digital Plus — de streamingstandaard op Netflix, Prime Video en Disney+ — wordt volledig ondersteund. TrueHD, de lossless Blu-ray-codec, wordt niet ondersteund door de Sync Boxes.
Aanbevolen opstellingen met AVR of soundbar
AVR's en soundbars worden over het algemeen ondersteund in combinatie met ons systeem; we hebben de compatibiliteit echter niet met alle modellen getest. Hieronder beschrijven we eerst de standaardopstelling zonder AVR of soundbar, gevolgd door de aanbevolen opstellingen en twee extra configuraties met een soundbar of AVR.
We raden aan Optie 1 of Optie 2 te gebruiken, omdat deze opstellingen het meest effectief zijn en naadloos werken. Optie 3 en Optie 4 zijn mogelijke opstellingsconfiguraties; ze zijn echter niet volledig getest met alle AVR's of soundbars, waardoor 100% compatibiliteit niet gegarandeerd kan worden.
